News Featured Frequently Asked Questions Posted on February 5, 2026February 18, 2026 by Mackenzie Smith What to Know Before You Visit or Collect What kind of art do you represent? We specialize in original, one-of-a-kind artwork by contemporary artists, with a focus on emerging and established voices from the Pacific Northwest. Our collection includes painting, sculpture, photography, and mixed media works, all carefully curated with quality and longevity in mind. Are all works original? Yes. The majority of artwork we offer is original, unless clearly noted otherwise. If you’re interested in our B2B licensing program please contact us. Can you help me choose the right piece for my space? Yes! Art consulting is at the heart of what we do. We offer personalized guidance for residential and commercial spaces, including artwork selection, layout suggestions, and scaling support. Do you offer in-home or on-site consultations? Yes, by appointment. In-home and on-site consultations allow us to better understand your space and make tailored recommendations. Virtual consultations are also available. Do you work with interior designers and architects? We love collaborating with design professionals. We offer trade support, sourcing assistance, commissions, and project-based art consulting for residential and commercial projects. Do you offer commissioned artwork? Absolutely. If you’re looking for something custom—whether it’s a specific size, color palette, or concept—we can connect you with the right artist and guide you through the commission process from start to finish. How does the commissioning process work? We start with a conversation to understand your space, preferences, timeline, and budget. From there, we match you with an artist, coordinate concepts and proposals, and manage communication until the final piece is delivered and installed. Can I see artwork in person? Yes. We also host select exhibitions, pop-ups, and open studio events throughout the year at our Georgetown gallery. We also participate in the monthly Georgetown Art Attack on the second Saturday of each month. During business hours we offer viewings by appointment. Availability varies, so we recommend scheduling a time in advance. Do you ship artwork? Yes, we ship artwork nationwide. Shipping costs vary based on size, medium, and destination. We work with trusted art handlers to ensure your piece arrives safely. Do you offer local delivery or installation? For clients in the Seattle area, we offer local delivery and can coordinate professional installation as needed. What is your return and exchange policy? We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase and are happy to help resolve any issues once your artwork is received. Due to the one-of-a-kind nature of our artwork, pieces may be exchanged for Seattle Art Source credit within 3 days of purchase, provided the work is returned in the condition it was received. Non-commissioned artwork purchased online is eligible for an exchange within 7 days of receipt. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the purchaser. Please note: Commissioned artwork, sale items, and photography prints are final sale and not eligible for exchange. How do I stay informed about new work and events? Sign up for our newsletter or follow us on Instagram to receive updates on new collections, exhibitions, events, and artist features. How can I get in touch? You can contact us through our website contact form or email us directly, hello@seattleartsource.com. We’re always happy to talk art and help you find the perfect piece.
