Back Guinevere Johnson Oil Painter Seattle, Washington Guinevere Johnson is a self-taught, lifelong artist whose work explores the emotional depth of color and the mystical symbolism of garden flowers and landscapes. Her sculptural oil paintings seamlessly blend the representational with the abstract, creating richly layered compositions where the materiality of paint becomes an integral part of the subject itself. Since dedicating herself to studio work full-time in 2009, Guinevere has collaborated with a diverse range of brands, designers, and creatives. Her playful enthusiasm for beauty and the fantasy world she nurtures has attracted those drawn to the vibrant, dreamlike quality that defines her work.
