Lynda Harwood Swenson is an artist whose work explores the intricate connections between social relationships, the surrounding environment, beauty, and how these elements intertwine in our social and emotional landscapes. Her practice reflects an ongoing dialogue with the world around her, investigating how personal experiences and external influences converge to shape our perceptions and interactions.

A 2018 Vermont Studio Fellow awarded by the Clowes Foundation, Lynda is also a 2016 recipient of the Artist Trust GAP Grant. Her work is included in the City of Seattle Public Utilities Collection, highlighting the significant role her art plays in local cultural dialogues. Alongside her artistic practice, Lynda has contributed to arts education at the Seattle Art Museum since 2010, where she now serves as the assistant manager for studio programs across three museum sites.

Her work invites viewers to reflect on the relationships that bind us to our surroundings and each other, using art as a means to deepen our understanding of both personal and collective experiences.
