Christy paints intuitively. She almost never has a roadmap going in. The painting becomes alive in her process and layer making. Then in finding the story and building it out. Her biggest motivation is the work itself. It’s crucial for her to recognize that exact moment where she knows intuitively which way to go, to release control and let the painting guide me. That is when the piece and her become connected.
