"Black.Blooms II" is the most dramatic of Leslie Stoner's new Black.Blooms trio: a single oversized bloom dominates the upper half of the sheet, its broad, scalloped petals dense black with a soft, mottled texture that lets hints of paper glow through. Below, a smaller bloom perches on a rolling band of maze line, and two curving swaths of pattern arc around the composition like hills or waves, leaving a wide open field of bare paper between them. Stoner's bold, open linework and the generous negative space give the piece a striking graphic clarity, while the slight unevenness of the black keeps it feeling handmade and alive. Measuring 13 x 10 inches and signed by the artist, it brings strong presence to a small wall or a gallery grouping.

Seattle Art Source procures artists for our roster proactively, and we generally do not accept unsolicited submissions. However, we do review all inquiries monthly for potential future projects or open calls.
Due to the high volume of inquiries we receive, we are unable to respond individually to every submission. If there is a potential fit now, or in the future, we will reach out to that artist.
However, we love following artists on social, meeting artists at artwalk, hosting community events, and amplifying art content.
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase and are happy to help resolve any issues once your artwork is received.
Due to the one-of-a-kind nature of our artwork, pieces may be exchanged for Seattle Art Source credit within 3 days of purchase, provided the work is returned in the condition it was received.
Non-commissioned artwork purchased online is eligible for an exchange within 7 days of receipt. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the purchaser.
Please note: Commissioned artwork, sale items, and photography prints are final sale and not eligible for exchange.
