Gilmore is a Seattle based artist who works primarily with acrylic paint, collage materials, ink and graphite. She composes her abstract paintings from observed landscapes in her world, but she often makes up parts as well. Gilmore paints intuitively, experimenting with the paint texture, vintage papers and colors as she composes.
