When and where does art emerge? How does a picture in the mind form into a painting in reality? Moderated by co-curator Seth Sexton Followed by a public Q&A with the artists. This event is part of the Form Over Function show (10/11-11/8): Seattle Art Source is proud to present the work from thirteen fine artists in a gathering entitled “Form Over Function”. This second annual group show celebrates various perspectives on capturing the human form, a long celebrated tradition in the history of human achievement. Featuring works by Ian Kurtis Crist, Amy Scherer, Amy Erickson, Melissa Messer, Maria Huang, Ruth Shivley, Barry Johnson, Nahom Ghirmay, Jordan Horton, Kyler Pahang, Krista Withers, Kade Marsili, and Ian Brown Lee.
