"The Rabbit Hour" by Zachary Schomburg works in the same material but in a cooler, more unsettled register — a large diffuse form of smoky blue and teal occupies the upper left, surrounded by a field of grey and taupe through which black marks, drips, and gestural sweeps move with restless energy. Small bursts of terracotta, yellow, and pink surface through the grey like things glimpsed briefly before disappearing, and the lower portion of the canvas dissolves into a scatter of marks and pale pooled forms that resist any single reading. Seattle Art Source procures artists for our roster proactively, and we generally do not accept unsolicited submissions. However, we do review all inquiries monthly for potential future projects or open calls.
Due to the high volume of inquiries we receive, we are unable to respond individually to every submission. If there is a potential fit now, or in the future, we will reach out to that artist.
However, we love following artists on social, meeting artists at artwalk, hosting community events, and amplifying art content.

Due to the one-of-a-kind nature of our artwork, pieces may be exchanged for Seattle Art Source credit within 3 days of purchase, provided the work is returned in the condition it was received.
Non-commissioned artwork purchased online is eligible for an exchange within 7 days of receipt. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the purchaser.
