"Tranquil.Messengers" pairs Leslie Stoner's densest maze line with her loosest watercolor: three blooms in mint, emerald, chartreuse, and pale sky blue spread across the upper half of the sheet, their edges soft and feathered where the pigment flowed freely into the paper. Two long, slender stems in solid black ink rise from the bottom edge to meet them, cutting through a lower field packed with hand-drawn looping paths. Above, the pattern loosens into open white space crossed by fine, overlapping arcs, like ripples on a still pond, with a few small drops of green floating nearby. The contrast between controlled linework and free-flowing color gives the piece a calm, contemplative energy. "TRANQUIL" at the upper left and "MESSENGERS" at the bottom mark the maze's beginning and end. An original 14 x 11 inch ink and watercolor on paper, it brings a cool, restful note to any space.

Seattle Art Source procures artists for our roster proactively, and we generally do not accept unsolicited submissions. However, we do review all inquiries monthly for potential future projects or open calls.
Due to the high volume of inquiries we receive, we are unable to respond individually to every submission. If there is a potential fit now, or in the future, we will reach out to that artist.
However, we love following artists on social, meeting artists at artwalk, hosting community events, and amplifying art content.
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase and are happy to help resolve any issues once your artwork is received.
Due to the one-of-a-kind nature of our artwork, pieces may be exchanged for Seattle Art Source credit within 3 days of purchase, provided the work is returned in the condition it was received.
Non-commissioned artwork purchased online is eligible for an exchange within 7 days of receipt. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the purchaser.
Please note: Commissioned artwork, sale items, and photography prints are final sale and not eligible for exchange.
