"Soft.Sway" is a 10-inch round archival ink drawing on wood panel by Leslie Stoner, its circular format framing a small, self-contained world. Stoner's hand-drawn maze line flows across the surface in dense, looping currents, parted by two broad channels of bare, pale wood where the natural grain shows through. Three delicate blossoms drift along the channel edges, each petal filled with fine, sweeping strokes that give them a soft, almost translucent quality, as if they were floating on water or carried on a breeze. Where her earlier works often use solid black forms, these flowers are built entirely from line, light and airy against the intricate ground. Shaped by Stoner's slow, meditative practice and her Whidbey Island surroundings, it is a gentle, intimate piece that suits a small wall, a shelf, or a curated grouping.

Seattle Art Source procures artists for our roster proactively, and we generally do not accept unsolicited submissions. However, we do review all inquiries monthly for potential future projects or open calls.
Due to the high volume of inquiries we receive, we are unable to respond individually to every submission. If there is a potential fit now, or in the future, we will reach out to that artist.
However, we love following artists on social, meeting artists at artwalk, hosting community events, and amplifying art content.
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase and are happy to help resolve any issues once your artwork is received.
Due to the one-of-a-kind nature of our artwork, pieces may be exchanged for Seattle Art Source credit within 3 days of purchase, provided the work is returned in the condition it was received.
